Dr. Kassab is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who treats diseases and injuries of bones, joints, and tendons.
Dr. Kassab is a native of Detroit having completed his undergraduate degree at Wayne State University. He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and graduated in the top 10% of his class and received his M.D. with distinction. He completed orthopedic surgery training at the Detroit Medical Center and was elected Chief Orthopedic Resident in his final year. Dr. Kassab further refined his skills by completing a one-year fellowship in Hip and Knee joint replacements with two pioneering hip and knee surgeons at the University of California, San Diego.
This training makes Dr. Kassab one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the Detroit metropolitan area skilled and specifically trained in hip and knee replacement and reconstruction surgery.
